Managing links

The Links tab is where you assemble the content of your bio page. Everything that should appear on your public page is added here — from simple links to embeds, newsletters and contact forms.

Adding a new link

Click the "Add" button in the top right. A picker opens where you choose the type:

  • Link — a classic button pointing at an external URL.
  • Category — a heading that groups the entries below it.
  • Embed — embeds YouTube, Spotify, Twitch, TikTok, Discord, Kick, Steam or GitHub content inline.
  • Newsletter — collects email sign-ups (Pro).
  • Form — contact form with optional extra fields (Pro).

After picking a type the edit dialog appears. Title and URL (for link/embed) are required.

Choosing an icon

The icon picker offers ~1,300 Tabler icons. Search at the top (e.g. "instagram" or "mail") or browse the categories. The icon sits left of the title on the public button.

Uploading a thumbnail

For link entries you can show a custom image instead of an icon (e.g. a product photo). PNG or JPG, up to 2 MB. The image is cropped square and displayed on the left of the button.

Display: standard vs. cover

Standard renders the link as a row (icon/thumbnail + title). Cover (Pro) turns the link into a big card with a 16:9 image and a title strip — it automatically spans the full width inside grid/carousel categories too.

Animation

Pro feature. Six periodic animations draw attention to a specific link: Bounce, Jello, Wobble, Pulse, Shake, Tada. Each one fires briefly every ~5 seconds — noticeable but not annoying. Browsers with reduced-motion enabled see no animation.

Gates & paid links: age, sensitive, password, payment

Via the shield icon you can require a check before the click is followed — or charge for it via the price field:

  • Age — visitors confirm they are at least X years old before being redirected.
  • Sensitive — a warning notice is shown before the redirect.
  • Password (Pro) — visitors must enter a password. Only stored as a bcrypt hash.
  • Payment (Pro) — use the “Paywall” price field to charge for a link; the target unlocks only after a one-time payment. Requires a connected Stripe account (see Monetization).

When a gate or a price is set, the click is routed through the /go/[linkId] interstitial; otherwise it goes straight to the target URL. After a payment the link stays unlocked for the visitor for a while.

Scheduling (Pro)

Set a "from" and/or "to" date so the link is only visible during a specific window. Perfect for promos, time-limited codes or events. Outside the window the link is hidden from the public page entirely.

Reordering

Grab the handle on the left of an entry and drag it to its new position. Categories and their entries move as groups — everything between them moves with them.

Activate / deactivate

The toggle on the right of each row hides the link from the public page without deleting it. Useful for preparing content and releasing it later.

Categories & layouts

A category is a heading that bundles all following links up to the next category. Per category you pick the layout:

  • Stack — default, vertically stacked buttons.
  • Grid — two columns, more compact.
  • Carousel — horizontally scrolling row.

Embeds (YouTube, Spotify, Twitch, …)

Add an embed entry and paste a URL — klixly auto-detects the provider and renders the matching card:

  • YouTube — video iframe or channel card with a live badge.
  • Spotify — track/album/playlist player or artist card with top tracks.
  • Twitch — player with an optional "Show schedule" button.
  • TikTok — video embed.
  • Discord — server card built from an invite link.
  • Kick — channel card with live status.
  • Steam — profile card with online status and recent games.
  • GitHub — profile card with top repos.
  • Calendly / Cal.com — a booking widget that lets visitors schedule a slot right on your page.

Newsletter (Pro)

Collect email sign-ups directly from your bio page. Sign-ups appear in the Inbox tab and can be exported as CSV. Optionally connect the block to Mailchimp, Brevo, MailerLite, ConvertKit, Klaviyo or Google Sheets — new addresses are forwarded into your list there automatically.

Contact forms (Pro)

Standard contact form with name, email and message. You can add up to two custom fields (short text, multiline, single-choice). Submissions also land in the Inbox tab.
