Customising design

The Design tab is where you give your bio page its character, from the layout (list or grid) and the broad theme down to the typeface of a single button. A live preview on the right shows every change immediately, before you save.

Picking a theme

Themes are the fastest way to flip the whole look: pick from a curated gallery (Minimal Light/Dark, Sunset, Forest, Ocean, etc.). Some themes are Pro-only and show a Sparkles badge.

Note: switching themes resets all other visual settings (buttons, fonts, background, custom colours) back to defaults. Avatar, logo, display name and bio stay untouched. If you have any overrides set, a confirmation dialog appears before the switch.

Layout (list or grid)

In the Layout tab, under “Arrangement”, you choose how your content is laid out: as a classic list or as a grid (Pro). In grid mode you place your avatar, name, bio, social icons and links as freely arrangeable tiles, via drag & drop and resizing in the grid editor (Links tab).

Header (profile area)

This is where you set:

  • Display name: shown large above your links.
  • Bio: short description below the name.
  • Avatar: square profile image, cropped to a circle.
  • Layout: Classic (avatar above name) or Spotlight (Pro, full-bleed hero image).

Video avatar (Pro)

Instead of a static profile picture you can upload a short looping clip as your avatar (in the Settings area). It plays muted and autoplays; your regular avatar image stays as the fallback. MP4 or WebM, up to 15 MB.

Buttons

How your link buttons look on the public page:

  • Variant: Solid, Glass (translucent + blur) or Outline (border only).
  • Corner: Small, medium, large or fully rounded.
  • Shadow: None, soft, strong or hard.
  • Font size: Small, default or large (Pro).

Fonts

Pick a primary typeface for the entire page (e.g. Inter, Geist, Roboto). On Pro you can additionally set a separate title font. The display name then carries a different look from the body.

Background

Four modes:

  • Fill: single colour (theme or custom).
  • Gradient: two colours, blending.
  • Pattern: subtle SVG motifs (dots, waves, lines, honeycomb…).
  • Image (Pro): upload your own background (up to 4 MB).

Branding

Pro features for a fully custom look:

  • Logo: your own PNG/SVG, replaces the display-name text in the header.
  • Custom colours: per element (background, button, button text, title, body) via colour picker or eyedropper.
  • Hide klixly branding: removes the "Try for free" footer pill.

Live preview

On the right of the editor runs a real preview of your bio page, with no saving needed, every change shows up instantly. Only when you hit "Save" in the top right do the changes go live for visitors.
